I was just thinking about this the other day. Judaism originated in Israel and is still the main religion in that country. Hindu in India where over 90% of the citizens accept and practice the Hindu Mythology. Islam in Saudi Arabia where 97% of the populace are Muslims.
By this reasoning we can give the benefit of the doubt to Jews, Hindus, and Muslims. They continue to practice the same thing generation after generation, going back to the founding of each respective fairy tale.
However, Christianity is dead in the region it originated. Why is that? It thrives in 'Merica, Latin American countries, the Philippines, and various African countries. But it was an epic failure and disaster in the heart of where the fairy tale originated. Just something to think about.
A fairy tale is a fairy tale but Christianity is unique in that it is the only religion that did not survive, and is no longer practiced in the Middle East.
It's not strange at all. The teaching of Jesus' offer of forgiveness to everyone was never meant to remain in Israel.
ReplyDelete"The Jews," according to Jesus, "were to introduce His message to the rest of the world."
As well, according to Jesus, the Jewish people WILL come around, but not until His Gospel of forgiveness has been preached to all the other countries. So, it's good I suppose that you've discovered the fulfillment of Jesus prophecy. It's just unfortunate that you don't understand it.
Nevertheless, good luck on your journey.
